What Ship iOS is
Ship iOS is a SwiftUI starter project currently in development. The planned first version provides reusable source code, setup guidance, and project-specific instructions for Claude Code and Codex. It is intended to reduce repeated native setup while you build the feature that makes your own app useful.
It supports the path from a defined web product or project to an iOS implementation: understanding the project structure, adapting screens, configuring the subscription setup when needed, testing, and preparing for review and release.
Who it is for
Developers and technical founders who already have a web product, project, or clear app idea and want a reusable native iOS starting point.
Basic Swift and SwiftUI knowledge remains useful. Coding agents can assist with changes, but you must review the code, connect your own services, test the app, and control the Apple accounts used to submit it.

How this differs from hiring an iOS agency

If you need a team to own those tasks for you, a qualified iOS developer or agency is the more appropriate option.
